Announcing Write YOUR Novel YOUR Way!
If you are still thinking about writing that novel, there is no better time than now. I am offering the most comprehensive novel-writing course I’ve ever taught. This course will take you from novel premise to publishing your novel on Amazon, if you decide to go the indie publishing route.
Write YOUR Novel YOUR Way combines sixteen individual courses, more than 100 lessons, scores of exercises, feedback from your instructor, support from your fellow students, and accountability. This course is like a graduate program in novel writing.
As an incentive to stick with the program, I am also offering a detailed professional critique of the first 20,000 words of your novel, valued at $200.
Each of the courses that make up this program has sold individually multiple times for $35 each. That’s a $560 value. Combined with the critique, this program is worth $860. However, I want to make this affordable enough that anyone can pursue the dream of writing a novel. So, I’m offering the entire package for $47. Click here to sign up now, or keep reading for more information.
This is not a scaled-down version of the course. You receive the full courses. Some of them will be updated with new material.
Also, none of these lessons were written by AI, and no chatbot will critique your work. It is not an autopilot course. I will be available for you throughout the course. Sadly, many courses have been produced by programs like ChatGPT, providing generic, low-quality instruction. I’m a real person and will be with you every step of the way.
In fact, I am returning to writing this right after receiving an email from a software developer promoting a program that uses AI to grade writing assignments. He wanted to “partner” with Wordmaster Academy to integrate their system with mine—I’m sure at a significant price point as well.
I told him politely that’s not how I teach writing. As nice as his program might be, it can’t get to know my students. It can’t understand the struggles and joys of being a writer. It can’t provide the feedback that someone who has stared at a blank screen, afraid they are not good enough to add their words to that screen, can offer.
Besides, that’s the fun part—connecting with you all. Reading what you write. Following your narrative. Rejoicing with you as you complete each chapter.
A computer program, no matter how sophisticated, can’t do that.
But I digress. You will be engaging with a person throughout the process.

Additionally, providing constructive feedback to others improves your writing skills.
All the knowledge in the world won’t get your book written if you don’t stick with the writing. This course provides you with accountability as well as information. You can set goals inside our community forum and report on your results. I will provide you with periodic check-ins to see how you are doing. Finally, as mentioned before, if you complete all the exercises, I will provide a detailed professional critique of up to 20,000 words of your novel. That’s a $200 value.
I’m In This with You
I’m doing something I have never done before in more than 40 years of teaching writing. I will be writing my next novel right alongside you. I’ll be doing the exercises, posting my progress, uploading my drafts—getting messy just like you. You can look over my shoulder as I write my novel.
I want to clarify. I do not believe that my way of writing a novel is the only way. That runs counter to the basic philosophy of this course. You might pick up a few tips watching my progress, but of greater importance, by pulling back the curtain, you will see that my first drafts aren’t any better than yours. You’ll gain an understanding that perfection is an illusion. When I first understood that, I felt set free. Maybe, seeing my very imperfect process, you can set yourself free.
I must admit that I am feeling very vulnerable here. No magician wants you to see the hollow space in the disappearing box or what they have up their sleeves. I hope it will be fun, and frankly, I need a little accountability myself. A writing teacher also needs to keep writing.
